Yona
papi rouge designer

Born in France from a Congolese household, my love of textiles took root in the midst of a kaleidoscope of colors and patterns.
Surrounded by loincloths, a veritable canvas of stories and symbols, I learned to decode a language woven from threads and dreams.

My creative path led me to the benches of fashion school, where I was able to combine this cultural heritage with modern design techniques. Beyond fashion, I'm also a dreamer. My pencil is my constant companion. Today, I design both illustrative & textile creations that showcase a tribute to my origins and an ode to modern femininity.

By favoring natural materials such as linen, cotton and raffia, I aim to create unique pieces that are gentle on the skin and environmentally sustainable. Each garment is handmade in my atelier in France, in limited edition, with the utmost care - an ode to craftsmanship and uniqueness.

My Christian faith is a constant source of inspiration. I believe in a beauty that transcends fleeting trends, but rather that celebrates the diversity and authenticity of every woman.
Each of my creations are a showcase for you to feel beautiful, feminine and true to yourself.

papi rouge is a multifaceted ode to art & beauty, thriving to convey the ‘emotional-pieces’ that resonates with your soul. Let's celebrate beauty, diversity and craftsmanship together.✨
